MyFootprints is an online utility that helps people create a legacy of their life.

MyFootprints is for people who want to:

• Leave a legacy of who they are.
• Build dynamic free family tree charts.
• Trace family trees of family members.
• Keep a life journal and timeline.

• Pre-plan for their funeral or life celebration.
• Search free obituaries archives.
• Create and send emails after death.

Joining MyFootprints

Anyone 16 and older with a valid email address can create their own footprint. If you are under sixteen you can create a footprint using a parents or guardians account. Once the account is created, members can immediately start using free family tree charts, trace family trees posted by other members, and search our free obituary archives.

Using MyFootprints

When you become a member of MyFootprints, you can literally start recording every facet of your life - your legacy. Start by using one of our free family tree charts to build your family tree complete with pictures and comments. Have your friends or family members join and their trees will be linked to yours so new members (and possibly family members out of contact) can trace your family tree. Then create an online diary to be kept secret until after you pass on. Use our Life Timeline to record important events in your life - present and past. Take advantage of our comprehensive free obituaries archive to search for those who have passed on in your town, or your hometown (or any other town). Create a set of emails only to be sent out to specific loved ones after you pass one. Lastly, assign a Trusted Keyholder who will be in charge of your account if you pass on.
